What I love about the Travelling Salesman Problem is that this business logistics problem (which I studied with pen & paper over 35 years ago!) can be applied to image manipulation - and the software’s even free. Check out examples here: http://wiki.evilmadscientist.com/TSP_art
It’s topical today, as TSP images (output in GCode format) look very well suited for laser-cutting . . .
